Opportunities from Community Partners
Elevate Recovery Advocacy is the Washington Recovery Alliance’s signature public policy and media engagement program. It is more than a training—it is the foundation of a statewide recovery movement. In the past two years, the WRA has trained over 500 Washingtonians who’ve been impacted by mental health and substance use challenges.
Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training helps you identify, understand, and respond to signs of addictions and mental illnesses. Find a course near you.
Crisis Connections has a variety of behavioral health related trainings every month, from de-escalation to compassion fatigue workshops.
